Normally we would end our program by taking a racecation, a vacation to a fun location where we can all participate in a race together and have a great girls’ weekend sightseeing and enjoying each other’s company. Well, 2020 is not the typical year! While our goal race was canceled due to COVID, we did not let that stop us! We planned our own race in Sonoma County, CA wine country. Several ladies lived close enough to be able to join us for either a day or a weekend trip, and those who were not able to join us in person joined in on Zoom. Ladies participated in their longest walk or run ever! Some completed their first half marathon. For others, it was a shorter distance but still a personal accomplishment for all! And since we were in wine country, we enjoyed a toast (or two!) as well.

We’re still not traveling, so we had another hometown celebration in Sonoma County, CA Wine Country. We may not be able to do a big race, but we’re still having a blast and celebrating huge accomplishments!
